President Jacquene Rainey holds both a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration from Union University, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership Policy Analysis from East Tennessee State University. With nearly two decades of experience in technical education and workforce development, Dr. Rainey served as vice president of academic affairs at TCAT Northwest and student services coordinator at TCAT Whiteville (now merged under TCAT Jackson). She serves her community and college through leadership roles on the Southwest Tennessee Workforce Development Board of Directors and as an ex officio board member for the Greater Jackson Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Rainey is a graduate of the Greater Jackson Chamber Leadership Jackson Program, the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology Leadership Program, the Maxine Smith Fellows Leadership Program and the Leadership of Hardeman County Program. She is also a member of the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association, the Jackson Old Hickory Rotary Club, the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women Association and the 100 Women Who Care: West Tennessee Community Foundation.
